A More Comfortable EEG Experience

WAVi’s proprietary headset streamlines EEG and ERP data collection with a cleaner setup, greater patient comfort, and an efficient clinical workflow.

THE WAVi HEADSET

EEG and ERP technology

Designed for Patient Comfort

Patient experience matters. WAVi’s headset was developed to fit comfortably and securely while supporting the collection of objective EEG and ERP data.

By simplifying the setup process and reducing many of the inconveniences associated with traditional EEG systems, WAVi helps create a more approachable experience for patients of all ages.

Saline-Based Simplicity

WAVi’s proprietary electrode system uses saline rather than traditional conductive gels, reducing setup complexity and eliminating the messy cleanup often associated with conventional EEG caps.

The result is a cleaner experience for patients and a more efficient workflow for clinicians while supporting reliable EEG and ERP data acquisition.

Standardized Electrode Placement: 10–20 System

WAVi utilizes a headset based on the internationally recognized 10–20 system for electrode placement.

The 10–20 system is a standardized method used in EEG to ensure consistent and reproducible positioning of electrodes across patients and testing sessions. Electrode locations are determined using proportional distances between anatomical landmarks on the head.

WAVi Headset FAQ’s

What makes the WAVi EEG headset different?

The WAVi headset was designed to simplify EEG and ERP data acquisition while improving the experience for both clinicians and patients. Unlike traditional gel-based EEG caps, the WAVi headset uses a proprietary electrode material with saline-based preparation, helping to reduce the mess, cleanup time, and patient discomfort often associated with conductive gels.

This approach offers a practical balance between dry-electrode systems, which can present challenges with electrode contact and signal acquisition, and traditional gel-based systems that can be time-consuming to apply and remove.

Beyond functionality, the WAVi headset was developed in collaboration with renowned Italian design firm MOMO Design. The result is a headset that combines clinical usability with a modern, patient-friendly appearance, helping create a more comfortable and professional testing experience.

Does the headset help improve consistency between operators?

The headset’s structured design helps support consistent electrode placement and standardized data acquisition workflows across users.

Is the headset suitable for busy clinical environments?

The WAVi headset was designed with efficiency in mind, helping healthcare professionals integrate EEG and ERP data acquisition into routine clinical workflows.

Can I use the WAVi headset with other EEG systems?

The WAVi headset is designed for use with the WAVi Scan EEG System. Compatibility with other systems may vary and should be confirmed before use.

Is training required?

Most users can learn the placement and operation process quickly. WAVi provides onboarding resources and support to help clinics implement the system effectively.

Is the headset durable enough for daily clinical use?
